Newlands Stables

Our first runner from Newlands Stables almost gave us a dream start with Phoenix Aquilus finishing 2nd narrowly beaten by only three quarters of a length over hurdles at Southwell. It is very encouraging that he produced a career best run having only been in the yard for a couple of weeks and looks sure to continue improving having travelled strongly throughout and jumping very well under Aidan Coleman. Clearly he is thriving in his new surroundings and enjoying  hacking to and from the gallops so we look forward to Phoenix returning to the track soon and hopefully getting his head in front...

The welcome we have received from the local community and fellow trainers has been exceptional and the horses have loved the variety of the training with their daily hack to and from the many outstanding turf and all weather gallops which are on our doorstep and fully managed by the Jockey Club. As part of the move we formed Principle Racing to help modernise the racehorse ownership and training experience. We will...
